Hill Auction Gallery fall kickoff Sept. 28 runs from antique to Modernism

SUNRISE, Fla. – Hill Auction Gallery LLC will open the fall season with its Palm Beach Estate | Antique to Modernism sale on Wednesday, Sept. 28. As the title suggests, a fine group of objects is being presented in styles ranging from antique to Modernism.

Hill Auction Gallery is offering an exciting array of fine items to the highest bidder. A lovely bronze (above) titled French Rooster highlights the remarkable collection of Erte sculptures, which numbers from lots 68 through 74. Another feature item is one of five original Romero Britto paintings included in this auction. A huge museum-quality painting (this framed piece measures 90 by 71 inches), Britto’s colossal Fantasia masterpiece depicts the iconic Mickey Mouse image (below).

Italian pietra dura plaques (below) of exquisitely inlaid fine stone (lots 171-175), a historic crystal racing trophy (lot 208), and several Tiffany pieces, which include rare and impressive Louis Comfort Tiffany original glassware (Lots 60 and 61), are just a few of the other items rounding out Hill Auction Gallery’s season launch.

Later this fall, Hill Auction Gallery will be featuring a large collection of deaccessioned pieces from the Bass Museum on Miami Beach. This sale is slated for Nov. 16 with additional details to be announced in October.
