POULTON-LE-FYLDE, UK – Heliers Auctions, a family run company based in Lancashire, will conduct an online auction with LiveAuctioneers.com on Monday, Nov. 30.

After many years of auction house experience and seeing more and more lots selling to overseas customers, the company has decided to hold an exclusive online sale. It is their hope it will be the first of many.

For the first auction Heliers has focused on easy to ship items: coins, jewelry, silverware, smaller porcelain items, pens, etc.

Highlights of the Nov. 30 auction include nearly 80 antique theatre bills and posters (below). These were handed out on the streets outside famous theaters to promote plays and shows. The majority of these are for London theaters, such as Drury Lane, with a Jewish theme. These date from the 1790s to the 1850s and are amazingly still intact and in good condition.
